Hi Aussiedigger , i'm at Dundee Forest Sth West of Darwin near the coast . Recently discovered within 50 Kms there are 25-30 tin/ tantalum mines dating from 1880-90 , keen to hit these looking for relics , plus there is plenty of WW11 depots and airstrips to hit , then i can get serious and hit the Pine Creek goldfields , all a learning process for me . goodluck with your searches . cheers Mick

Hi aussiedigger

Welcome to thunting.com sure hope that you will have a great time here with us all and PLEASE do be careful with them live rounds. I have found one that was from the Boer war took it apart then put a match to the powder, it went off just like it was new I'm sure that if I had placed that round in a .303 it would have gone off.

All the best to you and sure hope to see more of you here
Xavier
