Pdog,

I have the same problem with clubs. Not quite as many as you, I am working on my 3rd. Bedrock Prospectors here in WA, Idaho Gold Prospectors, and Northwest Gold Prospectors in North Idaho. You really get a lot when you join clubs.

UPSman, thanks hey Im from pa  Born in Johnstown lived there until 77 when I as washed out of there after the flood... visited last year.

Sean, where do you live in WA. Bedrock prospecting club is based here in Puyallup WA they have claims all over the state and in Oregon.  Talked to my in-laws and it looks as if we will be at grimes creek area for a few days.  We wont get there until the 2nd of June.  I have an outing in Baker OR for this upcomming weekend. then drive over to ID on Sunday night.  We also plan on rafting the piat (sp) river one day as well.  I will be panning going down the river (LOL).... Have you done any detecting in ID.  I think thats what I want to do more then anything. I always find the Nuggets that way and its fun as well. alot less work then digging and panning ect....

I reside over in Davenport, near Spokane. I have not detected Idaho for gold... nugget shooting is something I would like to learn. I love Idaho for the fact that they are reasonable with their laws regarding prospecting. Post some pic of the gold from Idaho when you get it.

Great job on the finds! I am from Oregon and it can be tough to find gold but if you take hwy 101 along the coast and search the rivers you might get lucky. Also check out the beaches in Ocean Shores,WA great place to metal detect.

Rammstein, Ya your right, wife is from Oregon as well, You have some great areas down there as well like seaside and newberg as well. I have not hit ocean shores yet, every time I plan on going the weather does not want to help me... LOL... thats the NW for ya.
