Wow, all these little faces on here makes me wonder if using my metal detector is harder LOL.  Anyway I love gold prospecting been prospecting for about 3 years, I love going to AZ and CA in the cooler months.  Last March I found 12 Nuggets in all with my TDI and Gold Bug.  Its much harder and a lot more work to find those little buggers up here in WA. However I have found 4 here as well.

Happy Hunting all!!!

Rick

Rick, nice nuggets......and you're right about not being here during the hot months (although Northern California might be ok)

Pdog,

Welcome, I am a WA stater myself. What part of WA are you from? I reside on the dry side. I love mining myself, and am heading to Idaho for my gold this next (long) weekend.

Peace

Sean

Sean, I live in Puyallup, WA not too far from Tacoma about 18 miles east. Ya I cant wait to hit your side of the Mtns.  The Pass going to the Naches River is a great place to go prospecting.  Hey I can take my detector... e R going to Baker Oregon next weekend then on to ID as well. My wifes dad lives in Eagle ID. We plan on looking for some yellow stuff over there as well. I just dont know that area very well. We might head down to the snake River and give it a shot.... Good luck 2 ya.
Happy Hunting!!!
Rick.

Forget the Snake. Grimes Creek north of Boise, if you have the money join the Idaho Gold Prospectors Association I think it's in the $25 range and there are plenty of claims within a short drive of Boise.

Good Luck!

Sean
