Hi Muddog
What do you usually detect with your Excallibur ?  do you dedicate it to underwater diving or do you use on land too, If you use it on land how do you callibrate IE;  discriminate , ground cancel , so on .

Hi Tiggerangelman !

I am quite home with C Scope metal detectors, so if you are stuck with the controls, just post a pic of the control box and I'll try ro help.

The push button should be depressed every time you turn another knob, and also when the threshold becomes too loud or disappears.

Post scriptum :

Couldn't find anything about the model you mentioned.

Must be a 25+ old one.

Golly mate...(Paul A)
I'm just up the road from you in Bedford.... Cool
Small world I guess...? (you USA guys that means we're but 20 miles apart Wink)

I also get to do some minor detecting work around the Colchester & Clacton areas but as I have yet to get down to it bigtime I haven't really got much going yet...
I found wonderful success with my devining though and that is just SO weird, how that works...
I need to spend a lot more time yet as I have been made redundant recently/ job search etc and have had too much esle on my mind tbh...
I am now looking at early retirement and am standing at a local election in June to so...watch this space eh? :Smiley Wink Wink

Now that is really spooky!
My Daughter runs for Bedford & County so we are over there (Barkers Lane) Every Tuesday and Thursday!
Just come back from the Marathon (London) - She was in the Mini Marathon and came 23rd (Not bad out of 300+)!
