Hi I am a newbie here so HI from the UK...I seem to be maybe the 'lone' BRIT here?
I am a FULL ANGLO SAXON
[wise]and about to retire by the looks of the redundancy issues here in the UK...
I "inherited" and elderly CScope from my late B-i-L who was the local "expert" with considerable finds to his name...
He had a real top of the range detector but this one is a fairly basic older style TR650-D that did not work anyway...
As I am / was- an electronics engineer and well into this type of repair I dug it out of hiding very recently and repaired it...(errr after some 15-20 years of having it under a bench?
?)
I'm not sure what switch settings "D1-D2" do OR the purpose of the push button on the handle (sensitivity?)
Where I live and near my area is rich in Anglo Saxon, also Roman remains as well as many Tutor style finds... (East Anglia UK) I have only been out just a couple of times just getting to check if the detector works and how etc...
I shall attempt to stay here for sometime but amd currently seeking work after a redundancy so have other priorities right now.
