Thank you much both of you from Texas and Arizona. I just started and have many plans but now the find time. Where I grew up coming from Texas, We lived at a farm camp here in Ca. and my mother told me stories how she found coins strewn threw the cotton Fields along the rows so she would pick them up and the silver she brough home too. those camps are long gone now over 50 years. I did try my luck there already and found a hood ornament and a copper spoon no money yet but I have not given up yet. But I have found my first Mercury dime that was great. I will keep in touch. Oh yea one more where I went to school I was sure I would find at least a penny no nothing but me running from a rattlesnake that was shedding it skin the snake was a big around as a hard ball to much for me so I will  wait for the Field to burn naturally or next winter after the snakes move on else where.

you've got to admit, though, that the part of the snake where the skin was already shed sure was purty  (had the same thing happen to me with a copperhead when I was in college....same reaction--snake went one way, I went the opposite just as fast as I could)
