Just joined the forum and would like to say Hi! from United Kingdom.

My main interests are in building a P.I metal detector and am looking at two designs, The Surf p.i and the Goldpic3 from Trevor Hill in South Africa.

At the moment just doing research but am looking forward to some active conversations on the boards.

Welcome from New Mexico!

It would be hard to go wrong with the Surf PI PCB or Kit from Silverdog there in the UK.

If I had the funds I would jump on it.

Gotta Van giving me stick at the time. Sure wish I could to it.

I even have a original Coil for one here.

Since homefire and mudflap gave you such good advice, all I can add is "if you haven't already looked at our Tech Talk boards, you'll probably want to do so. That's where most of the "techies" hang out to talk about DYI projects".
