Hey I'm new to this site and treasure hunting itself. I have been interested in all areas of t-hunting. Lately I have been wanting to purchase land for prospecting. I'm not sure where to look for such properties? Or if Washington state is a good state for it? If anyone has thoughts or knows please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Chattone, welcome to Thunting.com. Why buy land for prospecting when you can prospect BLM land as long as it doesn't have an active claim on it? Before you even think about buying land for prospecting, I'd seriously consider joining GPAA and attending local chapter meetings if they got a chapter near you.

I guess I was wanting to buy land in general then thought of trying to find land with prospecting capabilities as well. Thought it would be more beneficial? I will look into joining GPAA. Thanks
