Ace 250, GTI 2500, ProPointer, kneepads

Hi everyone! I'm from Minnesota and am about to begin a new road of adventure in detecting. I just got an Ace250 with an extra coil and can't wait for the ground to thaw! I've been reading all I can, researching old area maps,and practicing on the livingroom floor with coins, etc. I'm very excited about entering into this great hobby. My wife wants to tag along, as she's seen my interest growing. Bet she'll want her own detector after we start discovering coins!

Hope to learn much here and will check in often! Detecting

Thanks everyone! She has already hinted at the possibilties of the rewards! Grin

I'll post our very first find...I think I've located a ring/jewelry near a walking path, but the ground is frozen solid! AARRGGGHHH! Plus we just got more snow yesterday, this is killin' me! Just got my bigger coil and weather cover for my Ace250 today. I'm almost ready! Detecting

People are finding good stuff including chash money in snow piles.
