Go Up Go Down

Hi
My usual forum name is Bazza, can't remember my password/email for this site so I feel like being reborn as Lazza
Love water detecting and hard sand, lucky to have found a few coins and jewellery  so far this year and would like to bag a few more before the year is out
I have enjoyed this hobby for many years and like sharing some of my experiences with people who enjoy pushing their skills as well.
Thanks for your interest
Cheers
Lazza

Hey guys
I won't forget this time, think I only posted 40-50 posts before under Bazza so no great loss
Love Minelab, own 3 at the moment and want to make it just two
My favorite detector must be the Excal, the finds have paid it off many times over and just took possession of the unbelievable CTC3030 which now replaces the E-trac (another amazing machine).
Can't knock any Minelab, they are simply the BEST,  and as you can see I put my money where my mouth is
Previously owned very respectable brands (Garrett, Bounty Hunter) and think its horses for courses
I reside in Sydney Australia, and am extremely lucky to live where the largest population in Australia takes a dip!
Due to this I  find lots of coins and jewellery, so far this year I have bagged 8 gold rings, 11 silver and 14 odd junk.
We are experiencing some large Eastern Lows that bring high winds and rain, the Eastern seaboard is currently getting re shaped in terms of beach structure so many fellow detectorists down this way are regularly pulling up green (copper based)  Pre-Decimal coins (silver comes up black) and the odd old gold gem!!!
I was very fortunate on Sunday to recover over $81 and change and today on another beach, $42 including 6 Pre-Decimal coins, and a lovely silver ring.
I will try to upload pictures as I go, here are some finds that I'm sure you people will enjoy
Cheers
Lazza

Welcome back and Great Finds! Your input is needed in a fresh thread about the 'Best' detector money-no-object...I just think it could be a really fun thread if we got enough objective opinions in there.

Welcome from Connecticut. Nice going on the rings! Sure looks like a good place to detect. Do you have to put up with a lot of trash on the beach also?

Hi Mudflap
Not really, up on the dry there is plenty of pesky tones which sound like gold but are ring pulls, rip tops foil etc, I only detect those areas if the wet is sanded in.
Hi also to Mick in NT
Cheers
Lazza
