I'm new to the hunting and I'm looking to purchase a detector.  I live in Florida and not far from the beach but would also like to relic hunt in addition to beach.

howdy Alavch62......welcome to THunting.com.   There are a few detectors that would fit the bill, depending on your budget.....but since I live in a desert, I'll leave it to the rest of crew to give you some ideas.
