Apparently asking for information is not considered an introduction.
I'm not sure just what constitutes introductions........Do you need some specific personal info?
I want to start looking for meteorites by covering large areas. I'm not interested in much else as far as this site goes. I'm looking for information, not socialization. Maybe in the future after I start to get some time under my belt.
As it is, all I thought you needed to do to join here was to fill out some basic info and that would be that. I could the look for the info I need for the time being. But, no! Then there is the 5 post 'customary' obligation.
Are there going to be more? Do I have to learn a secret handshake?
I just simply am looking for information. I can see having a on line discussion about them, sharing knowledge is not very hard to do, and if I can share something, so be it. I'd enjoy coming back here with stories of great success and/or miserable failures and share that info. But, right now I have nothing to share, and I'd appreciate some information about pull behind type detectors to search for meteorites.
That enough for an introduction?

Yeah, that's enough of an introduction.   And just so you know, the 5 post thing is just so you can use the download section.   No one is stopping you from reading anything that has already been posted.  It's just that people like to know who they're talking to and sharing information with.

 Idea how about you try..........hello my name is_______,i live in or around________,my interests are meteorites,looking to learn some and share some,looks like a great site!...............see you don't have to give up yer SS# or bdays or yer dogs name or even yer credit card #.......SIMPLE!  you'll find ya get more bees with honey instead of pissing on the beehive itself............but unfortunatly you need 2500 posts to get the secret handshake.................chicago saying hey!
