Go Up Go Down

Hello from 34 11 00.00 S 22 08 00.00 E. Two years ago I received a MD and started using it on the beaches. I recovered a few coins and bottle tops. After the holiday I forgot about the MD.

This summer I decided to give it a go again. I soon realised that my MD is a toy as it only detect objects in the top 10cm of sand.

That is why I started a search to learn about MD's, and then I found thunting.com.

After spending a whole day on the forum, I am determined to get a proper MD, and start real treasure hunting on the beaches. Hope to report on lots of finds.

Hi flamtech and welcome! I hope to see and read about your finds in the future. It's great that you intend to get a proper detector and didn't let the experience with the toy one discourage you. Good luck and best wishes. Sue

Hello and Welcome aboard from Tennessee !
Keep the toy md as u call it, and when ever kids come out to watch you dig on the beach you can let them borrow it .
maybe even instill the MD Bug in them as well , I do that with mine , and love seeing the kids find their first coin etc.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
