This is my first time posting on a site. My name is Jamie and I live in southeast Virginia. I have been detecting for about 1 1/2 years now, struggling to find a good place to go.  Just recently got permission to hunt an old house sight in a small town and lady luck waved her wand!! In three separate days there,I have so far found : 5 Indian Head cents, the oldest is 1893; three buffalo nickels, 25 wheat pennies, 2 mercury dimes, a 1902 barber quarter, a 1773 Virginia half penny, a 1774 half reale, a 1809-1830 general army service button,and seven more buttons that I am in the process of identifying now. I know that spots don't happen like this a lot, so I am very happy! I will try to post pics son.
