I used an aluminum sluice hard for about a year and then gave it up unless I was using my dredge, (a little 2 inch)  Then I tried the Drop riffle sluices and now dont know what to do with my Keene.  If you are anywhere near Boise I will let you try it hands on.  I have a little spot that will really show you how well it does with the flour Gold.  The big gold is easy.  I really want some forum members to try them so there is some unbiased opinions for my future customers to go on.

I live a little south of Nampa. I'm thinking one of those would work sweet with my gravity dredge.

I posted some gear at a discount on Craigslist locally and sold out in a day.  I will have more stock in about 10 or so days and I would be glad to let you demo some gear.  I would love to see your gravity dredge in action.  I know a place that we could recover a lot of coins with one.  CODY

Not sure if it would recover coins, but it would remove the overburden. It's just a 1.5 inch pvc pipe with some flex at the top. String 60 feet of it down a decent grade and it has amazing suction. I made it small so I can pack it in to remote locations. The beauty is it is silent operation, needs no gas and runs forever till you pull the top out of the water. The downside is that the location has to have enough grade to create the syphon.

This is a waterfall with about a 60 foot drop and a pool at the top and bottom.  I have talked to old timers who said it was common for folks to throw in coins as far back as the 20s and 30s
