Why does it seem there's a lot of similarity in posters?

Hello, keren.  Welcome to THunting.com.  Looks to me like they are rocks that have been been shaped by flowing water.   I'm sorry, but it is not very likely that they are treasure signs.

the third picture reminds me of this picture I took

{alt}

rocks get caught in crevices in the rock and swirled around in floods, effectively drilling
hole through the rock of the bank.

too bad too few people believe that especially when the water is long gone  Sad   .   Thanks for posting the photo that shows HOW it happens, though.

Keren:

Looks like an ore seam of some copper mineral, perhaps chalcocite - chemical formula Cu2S.  Where did you find it?

Did you find it metal detecting?  If so, it would probably blow your ears off.  if it is chalcocite, it has a high percent of copper and that means that it can be detected.

As the ore oxidizes, the outer surface has a green color from the copper, but if you crack the rock open you may find a gun-metal grey color of the copper sulfide.

I've found chalcocite "nuggets" in a few washes in the desert that weighed over 20 pounds.  Most chalcocite ore bodies do carry a significant amount of silver and sometimes a little amount of gold.  I've got one cut specimen that has a small gold bubble.

I've heard other desert detectorists that have found hunks of the ore that could not be lifted they were so heavy.

I found it in a place where japanese camped during world war 2 in Northern Luzon, Philippines. This fact was based on the story of elders.
