Hello ninerfan and  Welcome to our Forum .

Look for these on the map = Camp Creek , McCoy creek, Texas Gulch in Skamania County of southwest Washington state, Also Lewis County a little north .

So I think there are some places and definitely research anything on the foothills of the southern Washington Cascades [the West side] of this range is closer to you. Lot of stuff is written but hard to locate , also try a good Library in your area for the Washington state gold books that are written .
