OK ,,,please bear with me, I'm not only new to this site ,,,I'm also new to metal detecting,,,& unfortunately, new to computers,. When I found this site a couple of months ago , I put all of my info in but I didn't know how how to get into my own email so I couldn't even find out how to get on until today. Had my first ring return today,,,,what a blast,,,,got to see a beautiful young woman do her happy dance ,on the seawall, in Galveston, with her ring on her hand where it belongs. First return,,,First biggy ,,,, Platinum, diamonds, sapphires,,have pictures on Facebook,,,,,don't know how to get them from there to here. Love the site, hope I'm welcome, please be patent doing my best to educate myself

Welcome from NM. Don't fret, you will figure it all out.

You can add the Photo from your photos on the computer using the Attachments on the Reply window.

from Utah! On your profile settings - there's a place there where you can download a profile picture too for your avatar (that picture that shows up on the left side of your posts in a thread). It doesn't have to be a picture of your face (as you can see from my avatar- it's the Lizard from those insurance commercials).. so whatever tickles your fancy just put that in.
Pictures on facebook (or anywhere on the internet) - I assume you're using a PC, and not a mac? Then just hover your mouse over picture you want to save and right-click and select 'save picture as' then save that to your PC. Then - you can upload it here to this website! Hope that helps.
