hello my name is nick69 , im from ohio and im very interested in finding info on maps or areas i could find anything to do with the kgc i know they had a lot to do in the civil war and many outlaws of the old west , not looking to get rich but enjoy history and find items of this era to share with my children and his class mates . if i could get help or and websites to looki for this that would be awsome, god bless and thanks for your time

Hello nick69, and welcome from Arizona.   Head on over to our Legendary Treasures board.  You will find a sub-board there dedicated to the Knights of the Golden Circle.    I will warn you in advance that a whole lot of people, including some very experienced treasure hunters and very competent researchers, put very little stock by KGC legends....seems the stories keep getting bigger and the KGC's role keeps getting larger with every telling.    But heck, I've yet to meet anyone who isn't occasionally wrong.   At the very least the stories make for interesting reading and the search might lead you to some really neat relics whether they are actually related to the KGC or not.
