Hi,

I have came to this site many times for info and decided to open an account. Since I did, I have had more trouble with this site than ever. I keep getting kicked out, and having to close the tab and retype the web address. Still not getting anywhere.....Help Please!

Thanks!  @ Golddigger, I appreciate your advise. I have no mud on my shoes. When i said I kept getting "kicked out" it wasn't from anything I was saying. I simply can't navigate the entire site. I will click to go into something, then I get a screen that says "
no data received." Just a bit frustrating.  Maybe I just need to play with the site a bit more...... I am truly here, purely, for the love and adventure of treasure hunting. I have a lot of questions, and I believe that I have some good advise and answers as well. Happy Diggin =)

Howdy, Diggin Dog.   Welcome from Arizona.   Pay attention to what Seldom says.   Chances are good that it will resolve the problem.  If not PM Seldom, GD, RidgeRunner, Homefire, or myself, and we'll see if we can figure out what the problem is.   I get the same problem, but only when I'm using a proxy (long story).

It helps if you spend some time on the home page, scrolling down and seeing  how the boards are organized.   Doing that sped up my own learning curve considerably.   There's actually a bit more thought and organization to the site than most people think on first thought.   

Also if you want to stay on the same board after you read a post:....If you reply, you automatically stay with the board.  If you don't want to post a reply but want to stay on the same board,

find the line at the top of the post that is similar to this:
Treasure Hunting & Metal Detecting Forum Message Boards - Detector Hunter Whites Minelab Tesoro XP > Our Community > New User Introduction (Moderator: BitburgAggie_7377) > New around here...

Whichever portion of that line you click on (say "New User Introduction") is the portion of the tree you get taken to.   If you click on "Our Community" you will be taken one level further along the tree and be able to navigate not only to "New User Introduction", but also to "Best of THunting.com", "Contests & Lotteries", "Happy Birthday & Greetings", "Mugshots", etc.
