 Welcome
Hi lads,
names Nigel and I reside 15 miles east of Chania in Crete, Greece. Its 4 years since I left England and I have hardly used a metal detector which is pretty poor given this enviroment. I'm starting from scratch, so would like to know of a good introductory book. My village has a history of being a bucanneers village in days gone by; has a whole host of WW2 sites as well as Turkish, Venitian, Roman  and ancient Greek history so I should get on with it. Anyone here have experience of metal detecting in Crete?
Regards Nige

Hello, Nigel.   Welcome from Arizona.   Haven't made to Crete, but I understand that the authorities can be pretty strict so be careful.
