......MN123....bear with me as I am still suffering from an stomach infection that started Tuesday ....I went to the doctor and got some anti-biotics so I am recovering but still not 100%..(..Some of these controls   can be adjusted for more max settings later....but do not want all of the settings to be on  Max while you are learning..)...Flip the toggle switch STD/DISC to DISC.......Flip the MAN/AUTO switch to MAN.......and set the ground condition switch to about the middle of NORMAL...........  Turn on the detector and turn this dial to  about the 75% mark with the coil up in the air......depress and hold the button on the end of the handle while turning the Tuning Control dial.....you want a threshold sound......soft so you can barely hear it.....I would recommend some good earphones.......release the button at end of the handle.......set the discrimination dial on #4....LOWER THE COIL TO THE GROUND.....if the sound goes quiet ...depress the button on the end of the handle and release.....just make sure that when you do this that you are over no metal... most hold the coil about an inch from the ground...(.I like to scrub) and start sweeping.......do not  sweep too fast.........Good Luck.....and once you find anything....... post it on this forum......LOL......Joe

Can't help you as all I have is a G, but I still thought I'd say welcome. With that arsenal, bet you've made some nice finds. Sue
