Hi all!
I'm from the Arizona desert, and just moved to a cool area with lots of old gold mines.  I enjoy exploring and have been trying to take the detector along.  I'm looking at purchasing a new detector for relic hunting.  I've been nugget hunting lately, but most of the gold is placer gold and pretty small, and I have yet to find any  nuggets.  I do seem to do a great job of cleaning the desert of bullets and small pieces of iron (shoe tacks and wire).

I haven't joined the GPAA yet, I should look into that.  I'm out near Wickenburg. I just moved here and am overwhelmed with the amount of cool places around here, its been fun exploring in the last few weeks.  What type of prospecting do you do?

Any kind I can, although I've been pretty much limited to my pan and my metal detector so far.  I want to build a drywasher that I can use on a small claim I have in the area.
