I'm an amateur electronics buff lookin to make a few homemade detectors. Two box, shallow, large coil etc. Located in Vancouver, BC (Go Canucks Go!!!) with land in Belize by an ancient Mayan ruin.

If you want to break that 25 post barrier, you'll need to get involved in some of the discussions on some of the other boards.   Pick a couple of boards that interest you then read through the existing topics and posts.  If you find a discussion you can join in do so.  Or if you have a question that looks like it fits on that board but you haven't seen it yet, start a new post with it as the subject. 
Doing that will get most people to 25 posts within a week or less
