Hi,
I'm new here and planning to buy a new detector and hoping to get more involved with searching. Is it possible to get a detector that will do well for cache hunting and prospecting? Thanks

Welcome from NM.      Any of the Better detectors will fill the bill.    For Prospecting I like detectors that run 15Khz or more.

Thanks for the welcome guys-I will have to research the modern detectors, I have an old Dtex I bought new in the early 80's but never got to use as much as I would like to have.
