Hi i am new to this site. I have been detecting for about 1 year. I am from MD. I use an Ace 250. This is sure a fun hobby. The only bad thing is that i am 20 and have no friends that like the hobby. So i have to go detecting myself. CJ

chris welcome from illinois. I just started this new hobby I am 49 years old. I really dont know anyone in this area that goes detecting. I really enjoy this hobby I have been out of work since 2008 this is the only thing that keeps me sain.

Hey Chris, welcome from Arizona. The advice to find a MD club in your area is good. In the meantime, you've got us. Ask us questions, posts pictures of your finds, etc.
