 Detecting

Hellow everybody. Brand new to the sight and just saying HI. I am also new to detecting and look forward to some great exciting finds. My husband's a little worried about our yard but I have a feeling that he may be as equally guilty of digging it up!
 Fight

We also live on a lake and I have been pulling some great old pop cans and things from the sand. It's very exciting. My next venture is the island in the middle of our lake. The lake used to be a hay field and there are foundations on the lake floor. oh, the things we may find. (hope to!!)

Hello Mc Welcome to the forum from Mississippi

LoL - you will soon get mad at those soda cans- just remember to go back over the spot after you dig up the first find such as the soda can. There maybe a smaller target below the first.
I have found a sterling silver band instrument part, 4 dimes and a gold class ring in the same hole.

 Hello and  Welcome     Hope you have lots of rewarding experiences to share with us.   As for the husband, you can always do what I did with my wife---bought her a metal detector and drug her to a couple of club meetings and club hunts.  It didn't take her long to get hooked.
