Howdy to the group.  I just found this site, quite by accident, and it looks like a good place to share info.

I do some metal detecting and relic hunting as well as gold panning.  I am becoming more interested in stories about hidden treasure, not that I would ever find any.  I do belong to two metal detecting clubs as well as some gold panning organizations.  I am definitely not an expert but I enjoy getting out and searching or panning.
