Phoenix is cool. We are heading to a GPAA outing at the 33 claim just over the new dam bridge. The dam bypass bridge. Right by the dam parking lot. And the dam cafeteria. LOL

Well if you ever decide to bypass the dam bypass and go back to the dam, make sure you check out the stone work around the flagpoles.  My great uncle and his father on my dad's side helped put that together.   The uncle, at least, went on to do a lot of the brickwork for the fireplaces and such in the old casinos (the ones that aren't there any more) after construction of the dam was completed.

I know exactly of your Uncle's work. Right by the winged angel looking bronze statues. Your Uncle did good work. I've been in Vegas for 32 years. Have been to the dam many times.
