Moseng, you're correct about the 300+ days of sun. We moved here from Illinois in 1987 and suddenly realized that we were not nearly so depressed in the Winter and I'm sure it's from the Sunshine. Love the dry climate too.
Watch out in moving to the "peoples Republic of Boulder". They say it takes 6 people to change a light bulb up there. 1 to do it and 5 to "experience" it

Thanks, homefire, I'm feeling much better about my old Garretts now. I've never tried a different coil and hope to some day. I frequent 2nd hand stores and Pawn Shops and if I ever see any old Garretts I will let you know. What happened to your coil?
