My name is Will and I'm a detectaholic.  I started last year and love the hobby.  My main detector now is a T2.  I like finding anything old especially coins.  My oldest coin so far is an 1859 Indian head penny.  I hail from the greatest city in the world.  Look forward to meeting others and joining the discussions here.  HH

Hello Will.

I haven't used a T2, but I've been impressed by everything I've read and heard (especially from real users such as yourself).   If you found both of those coins with that detector, I expect you'll turn up some really interesting finds as you master your detector.  The Lobo Super Traq you have does real well out here in the desert (but I'd like it better if it differentiated sounds better).   You should have some really interesting finds coming out of your area considering how important those 3 rivers have been in our history.

Yeah this city is filled with history.  The T2 is a great machine.  I have practiced with it alot and understand it pretty good.  I love the simplicity of it.  The balance is great too.  It's almost weightless.  I do plan to find many old coins and things with it.  The Lobo is also a good one, but as you said there's not much in the way of ID.  I will never forget the first time I used the Lobo Super Traq.  I took it out in my yard the day I got it and the first solid tone I got was an1889 Indian head penny.   It was right in the middle of my backyard.  That was my oldest coin until I got the 1859.  Thanks for the reply.

Sorry to say Will but there is no cure for the condition.
you can ease the pain by going out detecting as often as you can and by talking to the rest of us with the same condition on our great forum.
