Welcome from Texas

Others can give you more input on taking your detector to Europe but it cames down to where your headed.

Taking the detector on the plane is the easy part....whether it's legal to use it once you get to where you are going is the trickier part.   You need to check with the consulates of each country you plan on visiting now to make sure you can use your detector and where, before you get too concerned about how you'll get it there (hold baggage or carryon or a combination)

Welcome from New Mexico.

Spain, is a No No.

Turkey is a No No.

Greece is a No No.

Others have rulesl that could boggle the mind.

Your just like me have to gOOgle the thing and find out for your self.

The only way to know is to Contact the Embassy of he Place you want to go and ask.

Been  There , Got There and No Detectors Confiscated.

Greece will give you ten years hard time just for having one.

That little Dotted Line on the Map means Stuff.
