Thank you ! Sorry about the late response..Love the site!   Homefire, some gold yes but not the nice nuggets like out west more flake and flour gold. Some mines did well on the west U.P. back in the 1800's but all close up shortly afterwards due to complications but there is still a lot of gold in the ground and some areas have yet to be discovered. Down state from me in the lower you can find gold in just about every river but again its small flakes
