Was in N. Ga for a long time doing construction all over the southeast. Worked over here in 2003 working on the Ritz Carlton, meet my girl. I stayed in the states and dated her. In 2007 came back over here for Camana Bay, since the job ended, I decided to stay. Now unemployed, happy as hell, broke, metal detect and snorkel most days. We are getting ready to start up a little rental thing for the tourist, but waiting for "high" season to start. Dec is when all the tourist start coming over. There can be up to 6 cruise ships here 6 days a week sometimes. That is like approx. 15,000 people here everyday for 6-9 hours. I never had any idea that many people visit. There are stories all the time about lost goods. On one of the other metal detecting forums, a guy from NC said and showed like 6 rings he found here on vacation for like 4 days. All he did was waist deep with an excal. He said the rings paid for the trip. I can't get out in the water with the MXT, but it does great on land. I'm still learning it though. I still dig everything, just identifying them better before I dig them now. I really want to snorkel around with a excal. I hope to pick one up when we go to the states for New Years. Like the Rebel flag, are you in Ga? A bad day on the beach here digging nothing but trash, is better than sitting on Ga 400.....here is a pic of my view now. A lot different than the sea of brake lights I used to see.
