hey, name is clint "ironarmknives" i live in san diego been MDing for about 5-7 years started with MXT , now have a v3i,excalibur , sold the ctx3030 ..didnt like… thought it didn't live up to the hipe they lie its really not waterproof well sometimes the screen was to hard for me to read with green eyes the sun hates me and not being able to wear glasses and see the screen was a bummer… the machine was ok i guess … so looking at the deus as my #2 machine.. also going to get a gold bug 2 as soon as i find that good used deal….. i spend time in the dessert with the wife she like to ride the buggy i like to try to find gold or meteorites just found this forum .. I'm looking for info on the deus should i buy new i do want two coils and both headphones wish me luck … doing the beach tomorrow morning at 1:30 am low tide…. with the excalibur  i've got about 700.00 in gold rings charms earrings last month so off i go … i love the beach that early but that dam JAWS movie keeps clicking in my head LOL  first movie first seen … the girl in the water at 2am LOL hope u all got good stuff to say . i'll start reading now so singing off

Welcome to thunting.com from Belgium. Thanks for the nice intro and hope that you get all the info on the Deus, personally I have not heard anything bad on this machine but as I have never used it can't tell you more.  Don't hesitate to post some photos of your finds or if you have some good stories to tell.

thanks i sold a damascus knife steel blank i made to a guy in belgium last week …. i find stuff every weekend so pic… soon  if i have a good day … LOL

OK so I take it that you are into knife making? I wanted to get into it but never got round to trying my hand at it. I have so many projects that I would like to do but money and time don't permit. Come to think about it, it's more the money than the time LOL
