Hi everybody.I live in Portugal.In this country dont is permited the metal detecting in the
beach. only by especial license- I travel from Espanish, France and one month at year to
Caribe sea and Soth America.I have in Portugal seven Years.Before 1999 de metal detecting
are permited,In the next post i show some pics off this area were i live and some pics off
that i found across the years.I dont speak Inglish very well but with the help off the
diccionary is okey.Thanks for read.

Hi redcat,, I'm also new to the forum. My wife is from Maderia Isl, I didn't know that you needed a permit to md there. I live in R.I.  USA, R.I. has a large Portugese population. On one of my hunts I found a old rusted can that was almost full of coins that came from Portugal, macau and some African colonys. (lots of escudos) but not worth to much anymore since they have gone to the Euro. They look great when I put them in a picture frame with a blue velor background. (a little heavy to hang on the wall though) happy hunting.
