gadget404, welcome to the forum. I can't help with the Tesoro but I am curious about your experience in Guyana. were you working for yourself or with a company and how difficult is it to get the proper permits there?

Hi, I've owned about five Tesoro detectors--but none of them were prospecting type detectors--mine were all of the coin and jewelry hunting type. I've found coins from the early 1800's and artifacts from that time period also. And gold and silver jewelry. Good luck detecting.
