Hello new user Ralph from Illinois. 50 miles south of Chicago. Been detecting about 18 years, and feel like I am a needle stuck in the groove of an old record, every time I go out to hunt it seems I just keep going to the same old places, and coming up with nothing. Hope I ain't losing intrest. Any ways hay

Thanks for the welcome BA. I spent this last Jan to Feb working on the Weaver. I stayed in Stanton. No nuggets, but ran wet for 6 days in a wash on Weaver and recovered a gram. Not much, but had fun. Ralph

You're lucky that we had a nice, wet winter. Sorry you didn't have better luck. I've got some friends in Congress that regularly pull some nice nuggets out of that part of the state. (I haven't hunted there yet, but I sure plan on it).
