Been detecting on/off for about 35 years, been quite active the last 4-5.  Done a little gold panning, not much luck but it was more an outing than anything.  Starting to get interested in Ghost towns tho.  Just got the new Minelab Safari, but there is a bit of a learning curve we'll see how it goes.   Wise
