I looks like an interesting site.  My name is Mike (mcscs) new to metal detecting hopefully I can learn from some of you more experienced.  Look forward to reading as much as possible.  Also is there a section to make trades.  I'm trying to find a metal detector.  By the way I'm in South Florida and mainly interested in beach detecting. Now to get started the new research stage now. Then on to obtain the proper metal detector. The research has been enjoyable sofar ,then the requirements  the equipment does not match  perfectly.  Recently had triple by pass in addition to back surgery.  So I'm looking for something submersible and light possibly jw Fisher or Excalibur or what a leading to so far. so that I can work in 3 1/2 to 4 foot of water much easier for me to move around then on land.  And from what I've read in the last couple months that's where the good stuff is.  A few more posts and I can use all the good features on the site.  Thanks again for the welcome
