Hello everyone. I'm from Pennsylvania and I love to find things that are hidden, unusual, or forgotton. I'm a geocacher, experienced hiker and a current convert to metal detecting. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing my experiences as well.

Welcome from Australia. I used to call one of my girls Wildchild when she was very small. Wriggly little thing, cute as a button. She'd greet me whenever I came home by running full tilt straight at me and leaping into my arms. She was the only one of my girls who liked to go out with me and search for treasure.

Thank you for bringing those lovely memories of her childhood back to me. Once, when she no longer lived at home, we met her and her boyfriend at a local park for a picnic. At 22, she ran straight at me yelling, "Daddy!" as she leap up into my arms. Nearly broke my back, she did. But I loved it. Good thing I put the cooler of beer down, eh?

Awww...that's so sweet! I remember those days. My daddy is the one who introduced me to my first metal detector. I wish he were still alive to show him geocaching and all the rest of the adventures I've been on.
