Howdy from Australia. For the best place to start, walk out your front door to the end of the sidewalk and turn right. Look for grass spots along the sidewalk and hunt there. You'll be amazed at what has been dropped just outside your door.

head 4 hills at top of erskine bridge read there was an old roman camp there when u get to top of it the bridge should be line of you

have a look in library 4 old maps on history of clydebank it brings up some no bad stuf m8 i was brot up in c,bank wallace street and can remember my granda tellin us of old ruins every where when i was home visiting in summer fields in hargate and faifley turned few trikets try it

Welcome from Arizona.   Just did some quick reading on your part of Scotland.  Seems like a lot of interesting things happened in your area.  If you can get permission to hunt private land, you've got the potential of turning up some very interesting finds.
