Hey everyone, i am new to the treasure hunting hobby, I hope to gain a lot of useful info here that can help me make this hobby fun and amybe profitable. I found this site while trying to find info on gold mines and minning in Va. I live in Goochland county on about 10 acres. While walking the woods and the property I have notices large amounts of quartz and fools gold. I just fig that there maybe some gold and silver here somewhere, but if nothing else i may be able to find some good civil war relics. If anyone has info on goochland county va gold mines and such I would appreciate any input. Thanks

Welcome from New Mexico.   Yep, you all have the Yellow there for sure.

We have a pile of info for you to look into.

Start with the Prospector Talk boards and then Look into the Maps.

Your talking all the right indicators there and I'd be down in the Creeks doing some panning off the Bed Rock .
