 =Arial][/font][/   Hello , I have been detecting for close to 40 yrs and still searching for the holy grail(gold coin). Every spring the urge comes back and i hto get out and detect.I just purchased a new Minelab Safari and I'manxious to see if its as good as they claim .My backup unit is a Garrett 1500. I am still learnign and the forums have a lot of useful information. I hope I can help some one  and I want to participate in the forums. Meantime here in New yourk the snow is boss so I'm studying my manual and researching. Happy hunting  and good luck...idigny

Hi idigny, Could be the winter that makes the ground just wet enough or cause the heave to find that gold coin. Close to 40 years - neat - bet you've found a lot of silver. Sure got the snow - I was looking at the NY area forecasted depths yesterday. Glad you joined - welcome aboard! Sue in Kansas
