Hello everyone, just found this site today and did the next best thing and reg'd. I'm from Elmira, NY and Retired from the military. I just got a detector for christmas and was hoping to find a chest full of money in the back yard, but, all I found was an old hammer head about 3" deep. You talk about being overlly proud of my self, I ran in the house and showed my wife, who just sat there and looked at me and starting laughing. The nerve of that women. well any way, I thought it was something. ha ha ha.  glad to meet everyone.  See you all later.

Privha, welcome........and see who laughs when you finally show up with a diamond ring.

Glad to have you here.   There is lots of information in the various boards that will help you learn to get the most out of your machine.   And if there is a question you can't find the answer to, don't be afraid to open a new topic and ask.  Just keep in mind that if it is a frequently asked question, we may point you to some previous posts.....and we may move your topic to another board if we thing the topic is more relevant there.

But for the most part, we're an easy going group that just likes to see all of its members succeed.

 Shocked  Hi everyone, sorry, been busy, getting the camper ready for the summer. We start on  May 1st, and go until Oct 15th. Had a chance to hit the back yard again, found some more goodies, 6 nails, 4 deck screws, top of a beer bottle. 4 bolts, sorry no washers or nuts, ha ha ha. My wife told me if i make anymore holes in the yard, well never mind what she said. I had to fix'm all. And I just told her that I wear the pants in the house, AND she said, " that might be true, but I run the place....." I guess I told her. ha ha LOL. See ya later all.

ps..I'll start taking pic's soon and you all will get to see my goodies.  LOL
