Hi Everyone

So, I'm here... why?
My friend thinks, he has found an old wreck in the sea... but as most divers know,
it is pretty hard to see a difference between stone and metal after few years.
Maybe I will find here something to detect metals underwater....

Best regards
Pekka

Hello, pekka.

Welcome to THunting.com from sunny and dry Arizona.    Hope you two have a real wreck on your hands and not just a pile of rocks.

Welcome from sunny Australia where this morning, contrary to the forecast, we're getting a bit of rain sprinkling down. Love it!

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Thanks! I think, we have found a false keel.

We have very nice dark and cold winter, when you have lot of time to build cool gadgets
you can use the other half of the year.
I the summer the sun hardly sets.. Actually, in Lappland the sun does stay on the sky for some weeks.
Diving is of course possible all the year round, you only need a chainsaw to reach the water in the sea in the winter.

Hi Pekka and welcome. Just read the false keel, but could you have dropped a big magnet on a rope down there earlier to check rock vs iron? Sue

It is very difficult to hit the objects from 15m above,
when the visibility in water is usually only 3-5m.
You must do your seeking by diving to the place you study.  Smiley
