Hi all of you!

This is Rashid from Mauritius, a small Island State in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Madagascar. I have been teaching Biology at Secondary level until 2006 and am now retired.  Mauritius used to be a repair for pirates and other corsairs. Many people believe that there still are hidden treasures on the Island. I have for the time being a National Geography Digital Metal Detector. I expect to be able to use fruitfully.

Hi Rashid, Lots of ships taking refuge in your area over the years & probably lots of wrecks, too, so it seems like there would be a good possibility of interesting items to discover.  There's several pirate tales in the forum that mention Mauritius & R?union.
