Ace 250 & Soon AT Pro (oredered)

Go Up Go Down

Hi all,  I'm new to MDing, but I'm like a seasoned pro since I've done so much detecting the last 3 months.  I own an Ace 250 and it does very well.  Since owning the 250 and getting to know it, I had started to make my wish list for the better, aka perfect MD unit.  I wanted a unit that could go in water, pin point, do salt as well as gold nuggets and still be a good land unit for coins and relics.  The unit that I put at the top of my list was the Fisher-CZ21, but then Garrett announced the AT Pro.  It was what I wanted in a CZ-21 and a third the cost. So soon, I will be detecting with an AT Pro and my wife and kids get the Ace 250.

I live in Oregon, Portland metro area.  I've found around 9 rings, 3 bracelets and other jewelry as well as about $50 in clad.  I've only found 1 silver coin though, but I keep looking!

I joined a club here in Oregon called the Oregon Treasure Trail Society (

). They meet once a month for a meeting and finds contest and do a hunt once a month also.  Very well done and fun.

I'm married and have 3 kids (19,17,13).

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
