Hello all. Just bought my first detector at a garage sale(Tesoro). Brought it in to work to show it off, and another employee gave me a Garrett GTA500. So now I can take a buddy along. Hoping for some exicting finds. I'll let you guys know what happens! Detecting

Hey Ambisinister.  Welcome from Arizona.   You didn't say what model of Tesoro you got, but regardless you'll find it to be a good machine.   And the GTA500 is another one that's a good starter.  My wife, my dad, and myself have all used one of those.
