Hello,
I finally joined thunting.

I am planning to build some electronics like Sture did for the Waverly sidescan tow fish I own.
I guess I got most bits and pieces at home already, except a towfish cable and connector...
The only problem I got is lack of time !
This project is on my mind for more than 15 years now and I got the towfish for three years already... but there is always something more important to do.
I hope to get the first working version finished until next summer.

Any details, tips, pictures, schematics, links are welcome.
Especially about how to get a cheap/ self-build connector for the towfish, TVG, Chirping, ...

Is there any free software available for real time surveys ?

Thanks,
Garibeos

Hello Eugene,
I think I do not know that project file you are talking. But it sounds interesting.

I read all posts from that link here in this forum and I am very interested in those files from Quest Electronics, but I cannot find them.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Garibeos
